CLICK HERE TO LISTEN TO HOUR 1 After having two weeks off for the WCAP Salvation Army radio-thon, today we talked about the Kiss 108 Jingle Ball in Lowell and why city officials should ban the Jingle Ball unless they can stop the profanity, semi-pornography and sexual references to a crowd of 10 year old children. We also talked about the sissi-fication of America when the NFL penalizes players for "EXCESSIVE HAPPINESS".

Today we talked about the hate brigade in Lawrence filing ethics complaints against the mayor for not paying for his ticket to the Latin Pride awards, some additional thoughts on people defending Andrea Traficanti and Frank McCann, in the second hour MELVERN TAYLOR dropped by and sang a few songs. There will be no show on December 13th due to the Salvation Army auction. The next show is on December 20th.

Post Production note: the morning AFTER this broadcst the Eagle Tribune published the following front page story (http://www.eagletribune.com/punews/local_story_342010709.html) .... now I ask you all ... when was the last time you saw the Valley Patriot and the Eagle Tribune on the same side of ANY issue? On today's show we discussed the Andrea Traficanti/Frank McCann/Patrick Blanchette connection and all the lawsuits being filed by Traficanti and McCann as well as posing the question: will a Mayor Patrick Blanchette settle all these lawsuits being filed by his personal friends and campaign supporters? And, will Blanchette bring back the DiAdamo Law Firm to do the city's worker's compensation cases after Sullivan fired them. Lawrence City Councilor At-Large, Roger Twomey called in to talk about some of his priorities as a city councilor (one of the nest interviews this year). We also talked about the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Siglo 21's editorial accusing white people in Lawrence (who want a city manager form of government) of being racist. Congratulations to the winners of the Nutcracker tickets for the December 13th performance at Newburyport High School by the Methuen Ballet Ensamble!

Frank O'Connor calls in from the Lawrence Community Development to talk about Storefront of the month and yard of the month program. Jime Wareing calls in the second hour to talk about the Book of Golden Deeds Award he received from the Methuen Exchange Club as well as his latest efforts to stop a bill in congress to strop away privacy rights from the families of fallen soldiers.

This week's program was only an hour on WCAP 980AM from 10-11am. We discussed ballot question 1, 2 & 3. Question #1 is to end the income tax, Question #2 is to decriminalize small amounts of marijuana question #3 is to end dog racing i Massachusetts. We really wanted to do another hour just for the podcast we were just too tired. If there are a significant amount of requests for an additional hour I will record at least one more hour between Saturady and Wednesday.
