The state of journalism and how bad the American news media is. Lawrence City Council President Frank Moran will keep his job as a city councilor while serving as a state rep. Willie Lantigua will run for reelection. A tribute to Tom Byrne. Tom talks about how to deal with angry people at christmas time while shopping and road rage idiots.

Today Methuen Police Chief Joe Solomon called in to talk about the Columbine-type shooting that was prevented at Methuen High School last week thanks to a very brave whistle blower and some fantastic detective work by the Methuen Police. North Andover High School Student Zack Murray called in to let us pick his brain as a student after the Connecticut shooting. 
Tom and Paul also talked interviewed now, fired firefighter Tim Atwood. Lots of discussion about the media response to the school shooting in Connecticut and the irrelevant discussions about banning guns in the wake of the shooting.

Rhoton takes a hard stand that Lawrence must be taken over by the state while DiZoglio praise receiver Bob Nunes and refuses to call for Lantigua to resign or for a takeover of Lawrence. WELL WORTH THE LISTEN!

Today Tom and Paul talked about the indictments of Willie Lantigua's administration, some audio clips of Former Methuen Town Manager Bob Leblanc who is now a hack for Lantigua. LeBlanc has been appearing on other shows NOT disclosing that Lantigua gave him legal work all the while he is out front promoting Lantigua's propaganda as a neutral observer. 

Lawrence City Councilor Marc Laplante called in with BREAKING NEWS about State Overseer Bob Nunes from the Massachusetts Department of Revenue, who is refusing to stop payment on indicted Deputy Police Chief Melix Bonilla despite Sate Law that mandates he do so. Also calling into the show were Kevin Cuff candidate for State Representative in the 17th Essex District.

The most compelling call today came from Harold Magoon who was named in the Eagle Tribune last week as one of the tipsters who was working with Lawrence Police to have a viscous drug Cartel in Lawrence swept up in a police raid on Lawrence St. in Lawrence. MaGoon talked about how difficult it has been for him and his family since Eagle Tribune "reporter" Mark Vogler printed his name as one of those who were cooperating with police. A quick discussion about Elizabeth Warren and her racist tax policies and SO MUCH MORE today!

Today Tom Duggan interviewed Jen Cooper of the Lawrence School Committee who resigned this week and moved out of Lawrence saying that the Lawrence Public Schools because of the shenanigans of the State Department of Education and Receiver Riley. 

Tom also played debate clips from the State Senate debate this week sponsored by the Valley Patriot and WCAP radio between Democrat candidates Tim Coco, Kathleen O'Connor Ives and Bill Manzi. The Freedom of Information Law and how Lawrence continues to violate it with impunity, as state officials close to Mayor Lantigua do absolutely nothing to hold him accountable for turning over public documents. Another issue discussed is the 209A restraining order laws as each candidate vowed to fight for men's rights not to be deemed criminals for the rest of their lives because of a restraining order. FASCINATING STUFF.

The winner of this primary will face Democrat Senator Barry Finegold in the November final election. 

In the second hour Tom Duggan's fill in co host was Michael Sweeney with a special cameo by none other than world famous weatherman Al Kaprielian. A discussion of President Obama's war on private business, and Elizabeth Warren's claims that the US invests less in infrastructure than China, as well as the Chick Fillet controversy.

The week Tom and Paul interviewed Warren Shaw from Saturday Morning Live! who is suing the owner of a local Dracut Blog called "Dracut After Dark" for what he calls slanderous and libelous postings by the blog owner. Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney in the presidential race. The Methuen City Council blew their chance at settling the Lariviere case, Twitter changes it's censorship policies and Lawrence Police Officer Daron Fraser is the victim of a political hit by Police Chief John Romero and his butt boys at the Eagle Tribune. Tom Said something yo don't hear him say often (or ever) "I stand with Willie Lantigua". 

It was a VERY action packed show with lots of calls.
