DOWNLOAD OR LISTEN TO Hour 1: In the first hour of the show Tom and Paul talked about North Andover Superintendent Hottel tries to charge The Valley Patriot $7,099 for a freedom of information request, The Lawrence School system is being taken over by the State, newly elected School Committeeman Jen Cooper called in as well as Mr. Maali, newly elected City Councilor Tom Ciulla also called in.

DOWNLOAD OR LISTEN TO Hour 2 In the second hour we played clips of Newt Gingrich and discussed his comprehensive immigration plan. We played clips of Tom's interview with Newt a few weeks ago on the topic as well as playing clips of Michele Bachman and Mitt Romney AGREEING with Newts positions in prior public statements. We wrapped up the show by revisiting the Superintendet Hottel issue of trying to charge the Valley Patriot more than $7,000 for a Freedom of Information Request.

Our second show after a one year hiatus, Tom Duggan and Paul Murano (joined by producer Todd) covered Topics from Lawrence, New Hampshire, Methuen, Lowell, North Andover and other areas. Calling into the show today were former Lt. Governor Candidate Richard Tisei who gave us the exclusive that he is announcing next Tuesday his candidacy for Congress in the 6th district against John Tierney.

Also calling in were Tracy Watson, member of the Board of Selectmen in North Andover to talk about how Superintendent Hottel sent out notices home with students this week which advocated certain proposals before Town Meeting on the 15th, namely the proposed meals tax.

Also calling in were Sean Fountain the newly elected West District from Methuen, School Committeeman-elect Jen Cooper, Mr. Maali, Lawrence City Councilor Marc Laplante and more!

Tom also played clips of his interview with Newt Gingrich and discussed the Tea Party, Occupy Wall Street and the EPA.

It's his first show back on WCAP after Tom Duggan of The Valley Patriot and Paul Murano's one year hiatus and it was packed with action.

DOWNLOAD OR LISTEN TO HOUR 1: A tribute to Lawrence Fire Lt. Jim Zahn, a recap of the candidates for office in Lawrence and the influence of Mayor Willie Lantigua. Roger Twomey accepts an endorsement from Willie Lantigua and gets away with it. Lawrence City Councilor Marc Laplante calls in to make a final plea for votes and says Lantigua is more concerned with personal gain than the betterment of the city of Lawrence. Race voting in Lawrence.


DOWNLOAD OR LISTEN TO HOUR 2: A continuation of the first hour discussion on the upcoming Lawrence elections. A run down of the differences between Steve Zanni and Al DiNuccio, candidates for mayor of Methuen.
A call by Methuen Mayoral Candidate Steve Zanni making his final push for votes before the election the following Tuesday, as well as Al DiNuccio. Kemal Bozkurt a Muslim candidate for School Committee calls in with what Tom called one of the most entertaining calls of all time, Mr. Maali follows up with another really entertaining call.

This week Tom Duggan and Paul Murano talked about the murder of Woburn Police Officer John Maguire. Tom's guests included Craig Floyd, CEO of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund in Washington DC. Craig talked about the increase in police deaths in 2010, the increase in the deaths of female officers, cluster killings, the death penalty, the new Law Enforcement Officer's Museum. Tom and Paula also interviewed Jennifer Thacker of Concerns of Police Survivors about the help available to family members and fellow officers of cops killed in the line of duty, as well as interviewing Laurie Myers a victims rights advocate from Chelmsford and Methuen Police Chief Joe Solomon. Tom also read the parole report of cop killer Dom Cinelli who was shot and killed by Officer Maguire before dying himself.

Tom and Paul talk about the $71 Mil award to the estate of a smoker who proved the cigarette distribution company Lorrilard gave away free Newport Cigarettes to children 45 years ago, STATE SENATOR STEVE BADDOUR calls in to talk about the Ward Hill Connector Bridge, give breaking news on the Methuen Mayor's race in 2011, the legislative priorities for 2011, Baddour also breaks the news that Jim Jajuga will be running for mayor of Methuen.

Tom breaks with the Republican party and praises president Obama for for putting partisanship aside and doing what was best for the country in extending the Bush Tax cuts for the "EVILLLL RICH", Paul talks about his column in this month's Valley Patriot on the Catholic Church's position on condoms, Tom also gave an update on the criminal matters facing Lawrence Police officer Richard Brooks and Deputy Chief Melix Bonilla's son.
