Today Tom spoke with former Lawrence City Councilor Mike Sweeney about the death of Heather Sapienza, the wife of fired DPW worker Tom Sapienza. Tom asked the city of Lawrence MA Mayor Willie Lantigua for time off without pay to care for his wife and was fired. The Student at Methuen High School who planned a Columbine like shooting at the school, was ordered held for an additional ten days while the DA Jon Blodgett dropped the most serious charge of Terrorism threats. Tom also had on Tom Weaver and Ralph Zazula in the second hour about North Andover's new grading system (Everyone gets a trophy) and the state of the American news media, national politics and MORE!

The number of police officers killed in the line of duty have gone down in 2012 and the highest number of police deaths were not due to guns. The state of journalism and how bad the American news media is. Lawrence City Council President Frank Moran will keep his job as a city councilor while serving as a state rep. Willie Lantigua will run for reelection. A tribute to Tom Byrne. Tom talks about how to deal with angry people at christmas time while shopping and road rage idiots.

Today Methuen Police Chief Joe Solomon called in to talk about the Columbine-type shooting that was prevented at Methuen High School last week thanks to a very brave whistle blower and some fantastic detective work by the Methuen Police. North Andover High School Student Zack Murray called in to let us pick his brain as a student after the Connecticut shooting. 
Tom and Paul also talked interviewed now, fired firefighter Tim Atwood. Lots of discussion about the media response to the school shooting in Connecticut and the irrelevant discussions about banning guns in the wake of the shooting.

Voter Fraud in Lawrence as it is learned that the head of the Election Department has committed fraud. Tom also talked about Lenny Degnan and the corruption in Lawrence.
